Portfolio: basically life really

Being on summer holidays has inspired me to create so many things and the one thing i could not neglect is making a gif of all my favourite bands.

Long are the days where i used to be an avid top 40 listener and taylor swift was my idol. And i actually begged my guitar teacher to teach me her songs as opposed to the Beatles songs we previously did (we can over look that i was in yr 8) and then some time after that came my hip hop and rap phase to which i can not extend how ridiculously offensive and stupid these lyrics are, then again these rappers are known for domestic violence, bottling peoples faces, stealing spotlights and practically being the most offensive rapper alive (Chris Brown, Drake, Kanye West and Tyler the creator i am looking at you) But in their defence "YOLO" was a great lyric (said no one ever)
After all that manufactured pop tunes and cussing induced rap songs, i was in need of some proper music. And from this birthed a totally new approach to my music, thanks to youtube i was introduced into a world where bands actually wrote their own music, they were not worldly popular because of fangirls and they all donned on super tight skinny jeans and had seamless facial hair. It was honestly like a breathe of fresh air to listen to music that made you feel genuine when you listen to it as some may generalize it as indie/alternative/rockpop (well at least my itunes categorizes it to be)

So this is what i posted on my tumblr which got about 200 notes in two days...aaahhhh
